The Automac ACI-1000 Inserter, ‘Inserts’ an HSC Box Inner into an HSC Outer. This packaging style is typically used in the horticultural industry and is particularly common in apple packing. Automating the inserting process saves labour but it also reduces the number of conveyors that are required to buffer boxes. By combining the Inners and Outers, we have effectively halved the length of empty box conveyors required in a packhouse.
This inserting process is often a requirement before automatically loading boxes with trays of fruit.
We use the same robust patented technology that is utilized in our Case Erectors to ensure reliable operation. Case Inserters can be coupled to any ‘Tray or Case’ but typically they would interface with an Automac Case Erector or Tray Erector.
